The idea for Shaam was born out of a desire to help children affected by the Syrian war. Our founder and activist, saw firsthand the devastating impact of the war on children in her community. She realized that these children needed more than just food and shelter –they needed comfort, companionship, and a sense of normalcy. That’s when she came up with the brilliant idea for Shaam, a doll that would bring joy and comfort to children affected by war.
Since our founding, Shaam has made a difference in the lives of countless children affected by war. We have distributed Shaam dolls to children in Syria and other conflict zones, providing comfort and healing during difficult times. We have also partnered with organizations worldwide to raise understanding about the impact of war on children and to advocate for their rights.
